What can be printed?
You can print almost any graphic, sketch, photo, logo or text!
Even very small texts and colored logos next to and on doors and in corridors are possible. So the device is also an ideal signage solution for businesses, schools or in hospitals, hotels, museums and many other facilities.
Even paper art can be printed perfectly! With a simple scanner, we have already achieved amazing results by scanning at the highest resolution. Processing and printing old originals, maps, drawings, postcards, sketches, photos or paintings works perfectly and the results are absolutely impressive. So it's just a few clicks from a paper artwork to oversized artwork on the wall!
Can the printer compensate for unevenness on the wall?
Yes, there is a leveling system in the rear axle that compensates for surface irregularities in the floor. In addition, laser sensors have been installed that register wall unevenness of up to 10cm (3.3") in real time. The print head thus moves continuously and automatically back and forth depending on the wall surface. In addition, we also have rails that can be mounted on the floor for larger unevenness. This can, for example, also be used on stylas when printing in places you cannot reach by placing it on the floor.
How big can you print?
Print height: The vertical axis is extremely flexible as it can be extended in steps of 10 cm. The lowest ceiling height for use with the wallPen is 1.7 m (5 ft 6 in). Then the axis can be optionally extended up to 13 feet height.
Print width: unlimited
Due to the limitations of inkjet technology, there are margins in corners to adjacent walls, floors and ceilings.
How does it work and how long does it take to set up?
The printer is easy to transport, and on a clear surface the printer is mounted and ready for use in 5 minutes. Watch the movie to see how it works. https://vimeo.com/668174735?embedded=true&source=vimeo_logo&owner=133144387
What can it be printed on?
We use a highly resistant, plastic-like UV ink that cures immediately under the integrated UV curing lamps and can be used on almost any substrate. Thus plaster, wallpaper, wood, brick, latex paint, stone, concrete, plastic, metal, glass, most tiles and many other materials can be printed without problems.
Even natural stone and coarse plaster can be pressed up to a contour depth of approx. 10 mm.
Can we remove what we have printed?
The printer is designed to deliver images that last for many years, but on glossy surfaces such as glass, it is possible to scratch it off. On wood, plastering will probably be the best option, while on metal and concrete, sandblasting may be the best solution. And on all painted surfaces, it will be natural to paint over the image.
